Blue Wave Inn

Location was amazing, rooms definitely lack proper maintenance. Half of the bathroom door and trim was missing. Bathroom floors are warping upwards.
Kinda like water damage? Sand and dirt all over the carpets. The decor cracks me up. Nothing matched.
Cobwebs all over the walls. Whoever cleans does the absolute bare minimum.. we were on the bottom floor and boy does it sound like the people above us were gonna fall through. You can hear everything. I had to call the front desk to tell them to handle the noise because it's 12:36am and my kids were trying to sleep. There was a strong smell of mildew especially in the bathroom. My kid who has asthma was up all night having flare ups. Front desk lady around 6:00pm was extremely nice.

If I could have given a zero I would have.. the room was filthy , absolutely disgusting. we couldn't even sit down. The sofa that was in the room had black bugs crawling on it. The bathroom was covered in mold and smelled of urine ,the bathtub was so dirty and the sink had rust and mold in and around it ... The coffee pot was dirty and disgusting old coffee still in the pot and what appeared to be mold spores inside of it , stains on the blankets , floors looked as if they haven't been cleaned in years .. we booked this room for a weekend stay for $752 because advertising showed a beautiful room online .. but when we arrived at the room it was a complete disaster... Management failed to refund us in full even though we just walked into the room and requested a refund within 15 minutes of being there .. the location was great because the boardwalk was within walking distance.. Our health was way more important than being close to the boardwalk 👎🏾👎🏾 DO NOT WALK BUT RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I WOULDN'T LET MY PET STAY THERE LET ALONE A HUMAN BEING

Worst stay I've had in a very long time. The AC was broke and the room was ridiculously hot and muggy. The bed set was all damp because of the heat. I do not recommend 😐 😒
