Ashore Resort & Beach Club

I reserved a room with 2 queens for me and my daughter. When we arrived we were given a room with a king and pull out sofa. The front desk did not make us aware of this change so we had to drag our luggage back down and were then told there were no rooms with 2 queens left and my daughter could sleep on the pull out couch. By the time we pulled the bed out - it was very late. The mattress was all springs and it was clear the sheets were dirty. Even if the sheets were clean, I wouldn’t have made her sleep on it. The king bed was comfortable. The elevators are very busy. It took 15 minutes to go down most times. We ended up taking the elevator up to go down. Trying to reach the front desk with questions on the phone is impossible. The line either rings and no one answers or it’s busy and you get hung up on. The one nice perk is that staff will put out an umbrella and chairs for you on the beach if you stay there. However, there aren’t enough for all guests and we did not get one on the second day.For the price we paid I expected staff to be a little friendlier as well. I got an attitude every time I asked a question except on the day we checked out. Overall I would not stay there again.

I stayed at Ashore Beach and Resort recently and had a really good experience overall. The place has a relaxed vibe, and the facilities were clean and well taken care of.

At the front desk, Noelis helped me when I checked in. She was super professional and seemed to really know her stuff. She explained everything clearly and was easy to talk to—not overly formal, just helpful in a genuine way, which I appreciated after a long trip.

One evening I went to the Tap Room and was served by a Jamaican bartender whose name I didn’t catch, but she had a great energy. Friendly, quick with service, and made a solid drink. The atmosphere at the bar was easygoing, and it ended up being a nice way to wind down the day.

Depends if u like hot showers…..also do you like customer service…also do u like being notified and told the truth about a safety situation…..if you answered yes to those questions then this is not your place.

CO2 leak and no notification to let us know BEFORE we get there. Once we got there all they said was we won’t have hot water but it will definitely be fixed tomorrow. Guess what?! Still no hot water. In exchange for cold showers you can have free fruit and toast!!!

They were able to send a text about my reservation and if we needed anything but somehow forgot to mention the CO2 leak and no hot water for 3 days.

I personally spoke to Kane the GM and he made it very clear no discounts or compensation. You can cancel your reservation with no penalty. Well it’s August so everywhere is booked. If there was somewhere to go I would.

So disappointed in the customer service and lack of empathy for guests. We are on vacation, try better Ashore. Try to make our experience better. Sadly there is little concern for their guests.
