Great outdoor seating area that is dog friendly. Food is excellent and fresh. Typical seafood prices. Everything we had was so good. Got the shrimp tacos the shrimp was fresh and the green sauce on top was great. You can get them spicy or regular like I did. Got the Eastern Shore platter and the breading on the fish and shrimp was crispy and unique. The waitress said even the breading is made in house. They also start you off with two free steamed shrimp. Even the sides were good. I was craving hush puppies and they hit the spot. Great place we will be back.

Authentic local atmosphere, reasonable seafood prices and wonderful service. Brought friends from Europe to experience the local seafood scene and they loved it. Hard to find better prices for steamed crabs. Oysters on the half shell were fresh. Conveniently located on the route from Ocean City to Assateague Island, The Shrimp Boat Restaurant is a great place to eat lunch!

This was the family’s first time going to the shrimp boat. Our mom has been hinting about going since she saw it on WBOC DELMARVA LIFE. The atmosphere was nice the hostess and waitress were very pleasant. I ordered the crab cake and snow crab legs. The snow crab legs were okay but the crab cake…oh my goodness, it looked and tasted like poop. Honestly, it was worst crab cake I ever had in my life. It smelled and taste were disgusting. I hope this is not the norm. I am not sure if the cook forgot to place it in oven or broiler but I hope this is not the norm.
