Part of the National Estuary Program, the Coastal Bays Program is a partnership among the towns of Ocean City and Berlin, National Park Service, Worcester County, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and the Maryland Departments of Natural Resources, Agriculture, Environment, and Planning, which have come together to produce the first ever management plan for the coastal bays.
Established in 1987 under the Clean Water Act, the National Estuary Program was developed to protect economically and environmentally sensitive estuaries across the United States by engaging all user groups.

This was more than we had hoped for!!! Captain Kathy, Josie and another fine young lady showed us tons of marine life!! The boat ride was amazing and all the info super interesting! The best was when we docked and the adults and kids got to look for different creatures, shells, and animals with nets! We saw so many things and even caught a crab!!!!! Thank you alll!!!

This was a very informative, and interactive activity. The kids and adults loved it. 10/10 you will gwt wet. You will get in the water if you choose to. Lots of wild life. We had a dolphin pop up about 40 feet out from us off the beach.

Great organization to volunteer with learning and cleaning up the coastal shore as well as support local wildlife and environmental conservation. For example, paddled creek courtesy of Ayer Creek Adventures to Lewis Road Kayak Launch (open to public with parking) to clear wisteria.
