This place was recommended by locals. We went on a Wednesday evening. They had happy hour from 3-6. We actually arrived right at 6pm. Unaware of that. But it was just fine. We enjoyed a dozen oysters for just .75c each. And then pasta with swordfish. And some good wine. Everything was great! Not only was the food and wine great. But the place was packed. And they even had live entertainment. A solo guy singing while playing guitar. Not super loud though. The volume was just right to enjoy. While at the same time conversing with ease. We'll definitely be back🙂

Somewhere during the renovation, someone must have forgotten where they put the old menu. Food was 'meh' at best. All the interesting 'bowl' entrees I saw were $23 and above, and that's hard to swallow for bar food (pun intended). I got the chicken sandwich that was available (the one I ordered about a year or two ago when we first started going was no longer on the menu, and it was delicious back then) and my wife got the stuffed rockfish (?) The atmosphere was inviting, but very loud. To be fair, they did have live music that night. Thankfully we were seated away from the bar area, and the door that was opening and closing ushering in the coldness and patrons. Service was terrific. Our wait staff was very patient while we caught up with family that we hadn't seen in awhile. We tipped good to compensate, as always. In my opinion, they shouldn't have messed with success.

Overall the dish was palatable for someone with a liking for sweetness to their meals. Not what I expect when I order a Thai chili shrimp bowl. Way too sweet - the description does not specify that so beware!…. However the nachos (devoured too quick) were amazing! Drinks are also average. All in a decent place for a dine in.
