The fishing pier is nice enough for what it is. Just a simple dock with a couple of offshoots to offer a number of people a spot to go fishing. Free to the public. Has a station to clean fish. Fishing is variable. This time of year (memorial Day) it is overwhelmed with mating horseshoe crabs. Difficult to catch anything else. Later in the season, you can catch flounder here. Probably not a monster, but I have seen folks take some decent fish out.

The 9th Street Fishing Pier is a nice quiet place for anyone wanting to fish the bay. There is parking, fishing rod holders, and a nice open rail to fish from. It is free to enter, has wheelchair accessibility, and enough room for multiple fishermen, and their tackle. Oh yes, bring a chair. There is enough room for that as well.

The best thing about this pier is free easy access. In times like these when it seems everyone including cities/counties and state governments are changing for everything it's nice to know something can still be enjoyed without having to spend extra money on it.
I fished here for about 2 1/2 hours. I didn't catch anything but it was nice to get out.
