December Events in Worcester County, MD

Winterfest of Lights - Ocean City

Have you had the chance to stop by the annual winter wonderland in Northside Park? Ocean City, MD hosts Winterfest of Lights every Wednesday to Sunday from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM until January 1st, 2022. The walkthrough event features thousands of sparkling holiday light displays to admire around the park, as well as the chance to visit Santa and shop for souvenirs.

Ice Skating - Snow Hill

One of our favorite holiday activities is ice skating and the rink at Sturgis Park in Snow Hill, MD does not disappoint! Throughout the month of December, skate under the pavilion with beautiful views of the Pocomoke River for only $5/hour including skate rentals. 

Merry Marketplace - Berlin

Weekends in Berlin are always cheery but Merry Marketplace takes it to a whole new level! Come see the Berlin Welcome Center Parking lot be transformed into a festive holiday village with delicious food, drinks, arts & crafts projects, unique gifts from artisans, Santa visits, and more. Get a free ride on a horse-drawn carriage through the town while you sip on hot cider and write a letter to Santa during your trip to Brrr-lin!

Santa’s Train Wonderland - Pocomoke City

The Delmarva Discovery Museum presents a weekend with holiday train displays, beautiful decorations, and Santa of course! On December 11th and 12th, attend the free event and explore the museum. Don’t miss Santa arriving at the dock of Cypress Park on December 11th at 1 PM!
