Join Us for the 9th Annual Jeep Week!

Join Us for the 9th Annual Jeep Week!

It’s that time of year again… Jeeps of all shapes, colors, and sizes are going to fill the streets of Ocean City! This year’s 9th annual Jeep Week event runs from Aug. 22-26, with the availability to pick up packets on Aug. 21. And there are a few things that will be a little different than in years past.

Soak up the sun, play on the beach, and track through the mud (and sand) in your Jeep!

But wait, I don’t have Jeep of your own?

No worries. You can still enjoy all the fun. With daily passes available, you can attend the Jeep Jams, Beach Crawls, and Show & Shines along with the rest of the festivities happening at the Ocean City Convention Center, located at 4001 Coastal Highway.

Here is a look at what this eventful week will look like...

Tuesday, Aug. 21

Pick up your packets between noon and 5 pm at the Convention Center! Although there are no specific events scheduled for this day, it’s nice to get settled into town and have everything lined up for the upcoming excitement!

Wednesday, Aug.22

If you haven’t yet, pick up your packet at the Convention Center between noon and 5 pm! Vendors will be setting up inside and outside all day. Then, it’s just about time to let your party-side come out! The Wicked Coastal OC Jeep Week Tiki Fun Party kicks off at 6:30 pm at Coconuts Beach Bar and Grill, found at the Castle in the Sand Hotel.

Thursday, Aug. 23

What we’ve all been waiting for! In the morning between 7 and 9:30 am, watch the Beach Crawl of 250 Jeeps. As they begin at 29th St. beach, they will drive along the sand down to the Inlet parking lot. Vendors and participants will then fill the Convention Center throughout the day. There will be live music and a DJ, an indoor Vintage Jeep display, much more. At 6:30 pm, head over to Fish Tales for the Welcome Party for free appetizers and drink specials!

Friday, Aug. 24

Watch the Beach Crawl again! In addition to the fun and entertainment at the Convention Center all day, the excitement doesn’t stop there. Hoopers will host their Family Fun Mixer at 6 pm for Jeep Weekers and their families to enjoy! There will be a buffet dinner, 2 beer/wine tickets for each family, and door prizes. Additionally, at 6:30 pm, Clarion Hotel will host the Jeep Beach Party! You can enjoy drink specials and tons of beachfront fun! Then, the After Party kicks off at the Original Green Turtle, starting at 10 pm. You’ll definitely want to get there on time… the first hour is Turtle Power Hour!

Saturday, Aug. 25

Again from 7 am to 9:30 am, watch 250 Jeeps Beach Crawl from 29th St. to the Inlet. If you haven’t seen it by this point, it’s a must! The final door prize giveaway begins at 6 pm, following the wrap up concert! Just when you thought the night was coming to an end, the party then starts all over again at 10 pm at Ropewalk!

Sunday, Aug. 26

7 am marks the final Beach Crawl! Then, at 9 am is the Dusk Eastern Shore Jeep Association Land Tour in Delmar, Delaware. Get this: The tour is only $10 with your Jeep Week badge! The Sunday morning tailgate send-off at Berlin Jeep begins at 10 am with donuts and coffee. And finally, from 4 pm to 7 pm is the Official send-off Pool Party at the Crabcake Factory on 5th St. Pool Bar.

New this year!

You will not want to miss out on the new Beach Obstacle Course at the North Pier in front of Somerset Ave.

Something else very exciting to look forward to for this year’s event are the Jeep Jams at their new home! On Thursday, Friday and Saturday, the Mays Sports Complex--Ocean City’s ultimate Off-Road Park--will hold Jeep Jams on their trails and obstacles!

And that’s a wrap! This Jeep Week is going to be better than ever. If you haven’t already, make sure you have your hotel booked--the town will be a happening place!

Additionally, be sure to know and understand the town's rules and ordinances on trailers. As of May 1, 2016, trailers are no longer permitted to park on Baltimore Ave in season. Click here for full trailer ordinance details.
