During the 44th Annual White Marlin Open, participant Glen Frost aboard the Wire Nut caught the third largest white marlin ever in the history of the event. Not to mention, it was his first one ever! The fish weighed in at 95.5lbs, awarding Frost over $1.65 million.

Austin Ensor and his fishing crew did something right, catching not one but two very rare opah fish. These two fish are the only reported opahs caught by non-commercial fishing boats in Ocean City, gaining attention from WTOP, Fox 5, and CBS Baltimore. Fishing out of Sunset Marina, the crew brought in the second fish at a whopping 159 lbs!

Grammy Award-winning superstar and Country Music Hall of Fame artist Kenny Rogers played at the Ocean City Performing Arts Center as he celebrated his final World Tour, The Gamblers Last Deal on November 3rd. As one of the top 10 best-selling male solo artists of all time, according to Recording Industry Association of America, Rogers was accompanied by artist Linda Davis, a member of the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame. 

The Mid-Atlantic Symphony Orchestra celebrated its 20th Anniversary, Reaching Ever Higher, performing symphonies such as Bizet’s energetic Symphony No. 1, Brahms’ moving Symphony No. 4, and their first ever Mahler, the heavenly Symphony No. 4. 

Last but definitely not least, Winterfest of Lights celebrated its 25th year Anniversary, bringing yet another beautiful light show and holiday experience to town.
