The African American history and community have been a prominent factor in shaping the life as we now know it on Maryland’s Coast with cultural traditions, and impactful service of local, state, and national prominence. With these trails and significant landmarks, we aim to dive into the complex history of the African American experience on the Eastern Shore and shed light on the cultural impact of our region.
