Where to Find Santa in Ocean City

“I want a hippopotamus for Christmas. Only a hippopotamus will do…” Well, you better get talking to Santa! Throughout the next weeks leading up to the Christmas holiday, Santa will be at numerous places in town. You can’t miss him! Write up your wish list and get your photo with the one and only Saint Nick.

Winterfest of Lights

This may be the most obvious place to find Santa Claus! Every day, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be hanging out in the heated Winterfest pavillion to take photos. While you’re there, enjoy hot chocolate and some holiday gift shopping.

On Dec. 5 from 5:30-7:30pm, children are invited to attend the Pizza Party with Santa at Winterfest! Enjoy arts and crafts, pizza, a ride through the park’s light displays, cookie decorating, refreshments and time to visit with Santa! Admission is $8/Ocean City Resident, $10/Non-Resident. Make sure you’ve reserved your spot before Monday, Dec. 4 because spots are limited.

Ocean City Christmas Parade

Nearly 1,000 people will take place in the traditional Ocean City Christmas Parade through town on Dec. 1. Beginning at 11am at OId Landing Road, participants will march northbound in the southbound lanes of Coastal Highway to spread Christmas joy. And, of course, Santa and Mrs. Claus will make their appearance! As a sponsor of the parade, the Carousel Hotel will have free pictures with Santa, free hot cocoa, coffee and apple cider, half-price ice skating, and an unbeatable happy hour following the parade!

Ocean Pines

Santa Claus is coming to Ocean Pines on Dec. 1! Head to White Horse Park from 6-8pm to see him.

Breakfast with Santa

Breakfast with Santa and Holiday Crafter and Vendor Fair will be from 9am-12pm on Dec. 1 at the Cottage Cafe. There will be a delicious breakfast buffet with an omelet station and waffle bar! Adults $13, Kids (3–10) $7. Vendors include LulaRoe, 31 Bags & gifts, Paparazzi Jewelry, and more.

Belive in Tomorrow Breakfast with Santa

Pickles Pub will hold Breakfast with Santa at 9am on Dec. 8! Enjoy a delicious breakfast, arts and crafts, and a snag a photo with the jolly man in the red suit! A $10 donation is required, which will benefit Believe in Tomorrow.

Brunch with Santa

Visit Harpoon Hannah’s on Dec. 16 to enjoy Brunch with Santa form 10am-1pm!

Write to Santa!

Put your holiday wishlist together and explain to Santa why you deserve to go on the Nice List this Christmas! The Pocomoke Branch of the Worcester County Library has various dates throughout the beginning of the month providing supplies and welcoming children to write to Santa.

Watch your letters head out in the mail! The Ocean Pines Recreation and Parks will be sending letters to Santa Dec. 3-6 and 10-13.

Santa will be traveling all over the place this holiday season. Just outside of town, you can find him in Pocomoke City and Salisbury!

On Dec. 15 at 10am, the Pocomoke Train Garden Club will set up their holiday train display, and welcome Santa by boat.

If you’re out in Salisbury, look for the big man at the Salisbury Zoological Park on Dec. 1 and Dec. 15 from noon-4pm for a festive afternoon at the zoo making holiday crafts and indulging in cookies! Santa and Mrs. Claus will be visiting with everyone for photos and to read your Christmas wish lists!

One week later on Dec. 8 from noon-4pm the Salisbury Zoological Park will host Critter Christmas, a workshop for kids to help craft gifts and spread holiday cheer.

And last but definitely not least… SantaCon will take place on Dec. 8 from 3pm-2am, so hit all of your favorite local spots to fill your evening with countless Santas!
