Bring your blankets for a one-mile journey through 58 acres of lights on the Winterfest Express then, after the ride is over, head into the Winterfest Villiage pavilion for hot chocolate, photos with Santa and more! Visit the Art League of Ocean City on December 6-7th for the Holiday Artisan Fair. Browse through a variety of unique, handmade items including jewelry, glass, ceramics to gift your loved ones. Get your holiday shopping done at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic School’s Annual Christmas Bazaar and Fundraiser. This fundraiser benefits the Grace Center for Maternal and Women’s Health from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm on December 7th. Shop handmade gifts from local crafters, win big at the raffle table, and enjoy an assortment of baked goods.
Join the Women of West Ocean City Wine Club at Sello’s Italian Oven & Bar for their Holiday Sip and Shop on December 10th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Fun Activities
Here comes Santa Claus, here comes Santa Claus, right down Coastal Highway, The Ocean City’s 37th Annual Christmas Parade will be held on December 7th beginning promptly at 11:00 am. Bring your lawn chairs and line Coastal Highway to watch this legendary parade, with floats, live music, and a visit from Santa himself! Or, hit the links for the 27th Annual Santa’s Open at the Ocean Pines Golf & Country Club on December 7th. Eat, golf, have fun, and help spread joy through this golf event while raising money and providing holiday gifts for local children with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Eastern Shore.
The Oak Ridge Boys Christmas Celebration Tour will also be at the Roland E. Powell Convention Center on December 7th! For almost thirty years, the Country Music Hall of Fame group has delighted fans with their annual Christmas tour. This year, the award-winning group will play their Shine The Light On Christmas show at 8 pm at the Convention Center. Tickets are available at the box office.
Do you have a passion for fashion? Head into the Roland E. Powell Convention Center on Tuesday, December 10th from 10:30 am - 2:00 pm for the American Cancer Society’s Holiday Wrappings Luncheon & Fashion Show! Fight cancer with fashion from more than a dozen local boutiques, while also enjoying a delicious warm lunch. Listen to live holiday music and take advantage of great deals with the GRAND Silent and Chinese Auction and door prizes.
Head into Beach Barrels on December 12th for a Customer Appreciation Christmas Party! Food specials and happy hour will run from 3:00 pm until close, stay to enjoy live music by Lowercase Blues from 4:00 - 8:00 pm and Cheer on your team when the Ravens take the Jets at 8:20 pm.
What’s Christmas without a viewing of The Nutcracker? On December 15th, Sussex Ballet is performing the holiday classic to local audiences at the Roland E. Powell Convention Center. The Nutcracker is a show for all ages and the perfect way to help kick off your holiday season. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster and the Convention Center Box Office.
Berlin, Maryland
Don’t forget America’s Coolest Small Town, Berlin, Maryland! The Town of Berlin is just short drive from Ocean City and is thriving with small businesses that are making a big impact on the local economy.
Join the Historic town of Berlin on December 5th from 6-9 pm for their annual Berlin Christmas Parade! This parade features local high school bands, floats, marching units, and a special appearance by Santa Claus! The parade begins at the Berlin Welcome Center and Main Street and will travel north through the town. Or, visit Worcester Preparatory School on December 8th for its Annual Worcester Prep Christmas Bazaar from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm. Enjoy a festive Christmas village filled with shopping, moon bounces for the kids, a delicious lunch, and live performances by the Worcester Preparatory School Chorus. Finish your Chrismas list and then get a photo with Santa! Admission is FREE and open to the public!
