Weekend Events in OCMD
Springfest, the awesome annual event celebrating spring and preparing for summer is THIS WEEKEND, May 5th through 8th at the Inlet Lot. Enjoy four fun-filled days with activities and attractions for the whole family.
Listen to the live entertainment and continuous musical performances throughout the weekend as you browse local artisans showcasing and selling their unique creations. Come hungry for a variety of food vendors including famous Eastern Shore treats you can’t get anywhere else.

Maryland’s Coast Bike Fest
Last year was the first Maryland’s Coast Bike Fest and it was a huge success! This year is going to be even better. The three rides are perfect for bikers of all skill levels and experiences. After the rides, the celebration starts at the Harbor Docks with a free drink for riders, bike and local vendors, crafts, live music, and more.
The Island Ride explores the beauty of Assateague Island approximately 18.5 miles of a flat, coastal island setting. The Surf & Turf is a mix of beach vibes and coastal backcountry roads for approximately 38 miles. Finally, the Metric Century is ready to test your endurance with a 64-mile ride starting at the West OC harbor, traveling through Assateague, and the Worcester County countryside.
Big Restaurants Open in OCMD
Seacrets: There’s no question that Seacrets is one of the most unique restaurant experiences in town with tables in the bay, dining in palm trees, sandy beach bars, live entertainment, and a nightclub all built into one. While Seacrets is open periodically throughout the year, the real sign of Seacrets back in action is the arrival of the famous palm trees brought in from their own farm! Visit and be transported to a tropical paradise on the bay.
Fish Tales: A little slice of paradise sits on 21st street with swinging chairs in the sand, docks to leave your boat at, and delicious tropical drinks and bites to eat. Fish Tales is a family-friendly spot with a playground and indoor arcade. Check out it this summer while you’re in town!
Macky’s: Macky’s laidback bayside bar & grill is perfect for happy hour and hanging out with family and friends. Highlights include the private sandy beach, tropical drinks in Macky’s buckets, and it’s pet-friendly with a menu for your furry friend to enjoy! They are officially open Thursday-Sunday at 3 PM.
Fager’s Island: Fager’s Island is another popular spot for dining and nightlife. The award-winning restaurant houses a fine dining section, waterfront outdoor decks, bars with live entertainment, and 32 wines by the glass. Also, the seasonal palm trees have arrived to create the perfect tropical oasis!
Coconut’s Beach Bar & Grill: Coconut’s is one of the only spots in Ocean City where you can lounge on the beach oceanside and be served drinks and food right to your beach chair! Enjoy the palm trees, happy hour, and specials under the shade of umbrellas. It’s a great place to spend the day with live entertainment and something on the menu for everyone.
