New dining options and restaurant locations continue popping up throughout town. We want to make sure you’ve heard about all of them, and get a chance to check them out before the season comes to an end! From seafood to Barbeque to Italian, we’ve highlighted Ocean City’s newest establishments this summer!

Cluckin’ Crab

All-you-can-eat steamed shrimp, steamed crabs, crab legs, bbq ribs, or fried chicken--what sounds better than that? You’ll find delicious dinner entrees, tacos, and much more at this new location on 15th street!

Ripeno’s

With a wood burning oven, 28” pizzas, and quality service, Ocean City’s newest Italian bistro serves pizza, sandwiches, salads, and other traditional favorites. Ripeno’s is located off of 32nd St., open 10am-8pm Sunday-Thursday, and 10am-9pm Friday-Saturday.

Rare & Rye

Authentic green space with industrial and rustic decor create a welcoming atmosphere accompanied by a whiskey and wine bar, farm-to-table food, and a unique menu. Located on 32nd St., Rare & Rye opens daily at noon! Check out their happy hour specials from 3-6pm, and 10pm-midnight every day--one of the latest happy hours in town!

Ocean City Barbeque

Try out OC Barbeque’s in-house smoked meats for an affordable price with a great view on 45th St. next to Taphouse! Add a drink to your meal from their rotating craft beer menu.

Dry Dock 28

Next door to Buxy’s Salty Dog Saloon on 28th St., Dry Dock 28 offers mouthwatering craft pizzas, seafood steamers and pot pies, delicious wedge sandwiches, and so much more! Check out this new hotspot for fresh and fast food with a unique ship-themed atmosphere.

Ocean 13

Whether you’re looking for an early breakfast or a late night drink, Ocean 13 is open 8am-2am daily with inside, outside and bar seating. They’ve received lots of positive feedback on their lobster and carne asada tacos, and specialty drinks!

Big Mama’s

Try out Big Mama’s for the longest hoagie in Ocean City with a full pound of meat and cheese, and imported buns from Philly. And a bonus--no extra charges for additional toppings! Located on 82nd Street, bayside in front of Ropewalk, open from 11am-3am.

South Pole Ice Cream

Behind Tony’s pizza on the boardwalk, “Rolling ice” ice cream is made right before your eyes at South Pole Ice Cream. Additional location in Salisbury coming soon!

Crabcake Factory

Whether you are a local or a first-time visitor, you have probably heard about Crabcake Factory and their uncomparable crabcake sandwiches! Now there are 5 locations total! In addition to the Original Crabcake Factory on 120th St. oceanside, and the location in Fenwick, DE, their newest locations on 120th bayside, 5th St. and the boardwalk, and 5th St. inside the Tidelands Hotel are open for business!

Chef’s Riddle

Fresh recipes inspired by owner Kevin Dula’s experience in Amsterdam and Holland. Located on Baltimore Avenue and 2nd St., Chef’s Riddle seats roughly 40 people inside, and and additional 30 people outside. Open 7am-3pm daily.

Shmagel’s Bagels

Freshly baked bagels, including apple cinnamon, pumpernickel, french toast, and many more flavors are all available at Shmagel’s newest location on 129th St. Open weekdays 6:30am-4pm and weekends 6am-4pm.


Travel a little farther down Coastal Highway to Fenwick, DE and check out some new locations such as Big Eye Jacks, a Caribbean-style restaurant, and Our Harvest, where you can find fresh food and any type of wine imaginable.
